eufyMake, Anker’s new creative tools brand, has now officially launched its E1 UV printer. It’s the world’s first personal UV printer that can create 3D textures, allowing hobbyists and small businesses to print with both color and noticeable texture on almost any type of everyday object.
The printer started as a crowdfunding project, with over 17,000 people backing it. Now that it's in retail, eufyMake is also expanding with an ink subscription solution, while air purifiers and a larger ink system (CISS) are on the way later this year.
Frank Zhu from Anker Innovations describes the launch as a new chapter for personal creation, with the goal of making technology more intuitive and compact, so more people can bring their ideas to life.
Focus on safety and air quality
Since UV printing requires ventilation, eufyMake is launching two solutions during the second quarter:
Exhaust Duct Attachment Kit: A system with a fan and hose for those who can direct the air out of a window.
Air Purifier: A dedicated air purifier for those who work in enclosed spaces without direct access to ventilation.
Cheaper operation with subscription and CISS
To keep operating costs down, they are introducing a subscription scheme for UV ink, where you can save up to 30%. In the third quarter, their "Continuous Ink Supply System" (CISS), a high-capacity external ink supply, will be launched, promising to cut ink costs by up to 50%.
